Unfortunately, We do not offer wide width models at this time. We built the upper on a one-piece, die-cut material that is almost sock-like, but rigid enough for tempo cornering. It has a very unique feel, which has paved the way for an astonishingly forgiving and stabilizing upper experience. With that said, upon further growth, we will reassess the demand for a true stability model. 

Our running shoes are neutral, but we did incorporate a lateral and medial stability weld as well as a minimal heel counter into each shoe. Upon further growth, we will reassess the demand for a true stability model.

We are confident that our shoes fit true to size. If you wear size X in a typical brand, then we recommend going with size X in Atreyu.

Personally, we enjoy all shoes from various brands until they reach the 150-200 mile marker. However, we recognize that the aforementioned mileage is an imperfect assumption and does not factor in one's training regimen, height/weight, stride pattern, etc. Therefore, we would suggest opting-in to our recurring subscription service, wherein you will have the ability to re-up on a fresh new pair on a case-by-case basis (i.e. every 1, 2 or 3 months).  

Furthermore, our intention is to build a performance commodity shoe as opposed to a shoe that was merely ‘build-to-last’. We found that in order to simply enhance mileage, we would have to sacrifice a substantial amount of fit and feel. We set out to change the paradigm and utilized a price-point and subscription service to reflect that value. 

Our recycling + donation program is only available to USA subscribers at this time. In order to return used shoes to be recycled and/or donated, please follow the instructions below:

All new pairs of shoes will have a return label for your previous pair. You will attach the return label to the same poly bag your new shoes arrived in as these bags come equipped with a second adhesive, allowing you to re-package and re-label. Once shoes are returned, we will clean, sanitize, and donate your old shoes to someone in need in the Austin area. If your shoes are too used or too dirty to sanitize and donate, we will find a way to sustainably recycle them for you.  

At this time, we are direct-to-athlete. That means we package your shoes from our warehouse in Austin, TX and ship them directly to your doorstep.  In the future, we will look into physical locations based on demand in your specific area. Until then, you will find all available shoe sizes and colorways online only.

We do not have sample shoes for review at this time. If and when that changes, we will make an official announcement via our social media channels.

Our full focus has been on our pre-sale campaign, as well as the launch of our subscription service. If and when we decide to offer Atreyu-branded merch, we will make an official announcement via our social media channels. 

Our sock liner is removable so you can replace with a custom insole. One thing to keep in mind: our liner is 5mm thick and quite soft so removing it will likely take away from the overall feel of the shoe. But, at the end of the day, the structure of your insole will dictate the overall outcome.

Our shoes are built to accommodate daily training, track workouts, marathons, triathlons, and everything in-between. Choose your own adventure, the shoes will do the rest! 

We do not offer carbon fiber-plated running shoes at this time. Our midsoles are constructed with one-piece outsole grade EVA. However, keep an eye out for an Atreyu plated racing shoe coming early next year.

One-off shoes will be available in limited quantities if and when back-stock permits. Explore “The Shoes” page on our website to see if a specific colorway is available for single-purchase.

If a specific colorway is sold out, you will need to log in to your customer portal and swap your product/colorway.

Shipping

We'll make sure your shoes arrive to the right place at the right time. 

In some cases, international shipping has been delayed at the customs level, but we are very fortunate to have no production or domestic shipping delays at this time.

We ship both domestically (USA) and internationally. International shipping rates, including duties and taxes can be calculated at checkout. For more information, please watch founder Michael Krajicek’s international shipping update here.

All domestic shipments have a flat rate of $8.99 and are shipped 2-day through FedEx. 

Returns and Exchanges
